Arabian Cement Company (ARCC.CA) announced that the company’s Board of Directors (BoD) had accepted the resignation of Jose Maria as the company’s managing director and the appointment of current Chief Operations Officer, Sergio Alcantarila, as the company’s new managing director. Mr. Alcantarilla is currently Chief Operations Officer of ACC and will officially take his new post starting 26 August 2016. He joined ACC in November of 2009 as Plant Manager and became its Chief Operations Officer in 2014, where he has been working closely with ACC management, over the last year, to ensure a smooth transition. Mr. Magrina will officially cease employment with Arabian Cement Company on 31 August 2016. Magrina joined ACC in 2005 as a Project Manager; he later became Chief Executive Officer in July 2007.
