Al Shams Laboratories, the Cairo-based Lab owner and operator, is planning on expanding in the Egyptian market, with 44 new labs throughout 2017 across Egypt, to reach 110 labs by 2017 year end, according to a reliable source speaking to Al Mal. Also, the company’s executive committee is currently studying increasing prices c.7% for the services offered, on the back of floating the EGP, which had a direct impact on the company’s operations through one of the materials used for diagnostics, as well as affecting the company’s CAPEX costs related to the import of medical equipment.
