Adnoc selects two healthcare operators to manage medical services
Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (Adnoc) on Wednesday appointed two UAE-based healthcare operators to run operations of a hospital and provide medical services at its onshore and offshore facilities, as the state oil firm focuses on developing its core business. Adnoc picked NMC Healthcare to manage operations of its Ruwais Hospital that will extend medical services to its employees and people in Ruwais and broader Al Dhafra region, it said in a statement. Abu Dhabi’s VPS Healthcare is selected to look after healthcare needs at Adnoc facilities, a move in line with company's 2030 smart growth strategy, the oil major added. Under the agreement with NMC, the range and scope of healthcare services available at Ruwais Hospital will be expanded. Meanwhile, VPS Healthcare will enhance the services available to Adnoc’s onsite employees.
