Nakheel’s Chairman Ali Rashid Lootah said that the Dubai property marketing is bottoming out as buyers return to the market and the emirate offers alternatives to investors worried about UK’s Brexit vote. He said that Nakheel is seeing more inquiries which is a sign of recovery. He also stated that the market is maturing and that the emirate is seeing more serious and cautious investors and not speculators. Mr Lootah made these statements in Singapore where he is marketing Nakheel’s Palm 360 and Palm Tower projects to overseas investors. About half the 504 apartments in the 52 story hotel and residential Palm Tower have been sold since they went on sale two years ago. (Bloomberg)
