VOX cinemas granted USD533mn licence to operate in Saudi Arabia
VOX Cinemas has been awarded the second licence to operate cinemas in Saudi Arabia, with an investment of up to USD533mn. VOX investments include opening 600 screens and providing 3,000 jobs in the next five years. Saudi Arabian Minister of Culture and Information Awwad Alawwad granted the licence to the company officially on Sunday. The deal comes as part of Saudi Arabia’s 2030 vision.
