Vodafone Egypt 2Q16 service revenues grow by 9.4% Y-o-Y; Subscribers grow 1.4% Q-o-Q to 39.04mn in June 2016
Vodafone Egypt’s (VFE) service revenues have grown by 9.4% Y-o-Y to cEGP3.5bn, implying a 9.4% Y-o-Y increase. Service revenues for the quarter were driven by sustained growth in data usage and mobile ARPU expansion, according to a press release issued by its parent, Vodafone Group. Meanwhile, total number of subscribers have reached 39.04mn in June 2016. VFE has added 519,000 pre-paid and 19,000 post-paid subscribers throughout the quarter. The company’s fixed ADSL subscriptions increased by 8.5% Q-o-Q to stand at 231,000 subscriptions in June 2016. (Company disclosure)
