Veon announced that it has withdrawn the mandatory tender offer (MTO) that it had filed on Global Telecom Holding (GTH) [GTHE.CA] on 8 Nov 2017, according to a company disclosure. Veon notified the Egyptian Financial Regulatory Authority (EFRA) and has cited lapse of time and absence of approval as the reasons behind the decision.
