VAT executive regulations draft due within hours, Deputy Finance Minister says
The Deputy Finance Minister Amr El Monayer said yesterday that the final draft of the executive regulations to the Value-Added Tax (VAT) is due out within hours and will be put up for public discussion. The Tax Authority has reportedly, given businesses that missed the 9 October deadline to register for VAT a leeway until 9 December. The document would come out more than a month late, after the tax has already been implemented. (Al Mal)
