USD571mn Dubai-Abu Dhabi motorway to open before year-end
Abu Dhabi General Services Company (Musanada) has announced that 83% of the new Abu Dhabi-Dubai speedway has been completed. The project aims to cut congestion between the two cities. It is comprised of a four lanes, with a capacity of 8,000 vehicles per hour. It will function as an alternative route to the existing E11 Abu Dhabi-Dubai highway. The total cost of the 62km highway project is cAED2.1bn (USD571.7mn). (Arabian Business)
