USD1.5 billion loan from AfDB to build new capital
The African Development Bank (AfDB) will provide USD1.5 billion to help fund the USD44 billion new administrative capital in Cairo, Al Mal quoted AfDB President Akinwumi Adesina. This new loan will raise the bank’s financing in Egypt to USD2 billion this year, Adesina added. (Al Mal, Enterprise)
