UAE to launch tenders for 250-unit residential project
UAE-based Sheikh Zayed Housing Programme has given approval for the launch of engineering consultancy tenders for the construction of a 250-unit residential neighbourhood at Khor Fakkan in Sharjah’s Eastern Region. The decision came at the Sheikh Zayed Housing Programme's board meeting which saw the board members approve 1,000 decisions to support housing, to mark Ramadan and as part of its housing programme in 2019. The housing project is estimated to cost between AED800mn to AED1bn (USD218mn to USD272mn) and is likely to be completed by the end of 2022, it stated.
