Digital Invest, a BVI-incorporated company and a fully owned subsidiary of Dubai-incorporated Premium Investment, has transferred its total holding of 255.2mn shares of DAMAC Properties Dubai (Damac) to its parent, representing c4.22% of Damac’s total shares. The ultimate beneficial owner of both companies is Damac’s founder and main shareholder, Hussain Sajwani, but the transfer of shares results in a reduction of non-UAE ownership in Damac from 44.1% to 40.0% and an increase to UAE ownership from 55.9% to 60.1%.
