UAE-Italian JV wins main construction contract for USD1.2bn Reem Mall
The Reem Mall consortium has announced the appointment of UAE-Italian JV Itinera Ghantoot as the lead contractor for the USD1.2bn mall project in Abu Dhabi. The mall is being developed by Al Farwaniya Property Developments, a partnership between three Kuwait-based companies: Agility, Agility affiliate United Projects for Aviation Services Company (UPAC), and National Real Estate Company (NREC). It will include 450 stores and F&B outlets spread over 2.9mn sqft of Reem Island’s Najmat District.
