Tronox to sell Cristal's Ashtabula complex to INEOS
Tronox seeks to sell Cristal's Tio2 complex in Ashtabula, Ohio, to INEOS for USD700mn to get US approval of the proposed acquisition. Tronox has earlier stated that the sale of the Ashtabula complex should address some of the concerns from US antitrust regulators. Based on a news source, the complex has a combined capacity of 245ktpa.
