Technology Park at Tenth of Ramadan City put on hold
The Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT) announced that it had shelved its USD505mn Technology and Science project at the Tenth of Ramadan City. Local sources have told MEED that the project had been put on hold because the Ministry is planning to build a similar project in the New Capital City. The technology park was expected to be developed on a built-up area of 480,000 sqm, with all infrastructure and some buildings to be constructed by a state-owned joint stock company owned by the MCIT and the New Urban Communities Authority (NUCA).
