According to an official at the National Telecommunication Regulatory Authority (NTRA), none of the mobile number operators (MNOs) have sent their responses to the letter of interest for the 4G licence yet. NTRA started sending out the letters of interest last Tuesday to all operators including Telecom Egypt (TE) [ETEL.CA] which responded immediately, showing interest in the licence.
