The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) auctioned EGP17bn in Treasury bills on Sunday. The T-bills were offered in two instalments: i) EGP8.5bn with a three-month term; and ii) EGP85bn with a nine-month maturity. The shorter maturity saw average yields fall by 52bps to 19.19%, while the longer one fell by 30bps to 19.668%.
