T-bill yields continue to rise in Sunday’s auction
The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE), on behalf of the Ministry of Finance, issued on Sunday EGP11.9bn in T-bills, lower than the planned EGP17bn for the issuance. Average yields on the EGP5.3bn, three-month tenor rose by 7bps to 18.202%, while yields on the EGP6.5bn, nine-month tenor rose 25bps to 18.543%.
