Oman is ready to cut 5-10% of its crude output if other producers follow suit, H E Mohammed al Rumhi, the sultanate's Minister of Oil & Gas, said at a conference in Abu Dhabi, UAE. Oman is not worried about any future Iranian increase in crude production following sanctions relief, the minister said. “We’ve already been hit by the tsunami. We’re not worried about the little wave that comes after.” Oman has been a critic of OPEC policies. H E Rumhi in November called current oil production levels 'irresponsible' and blamed the cartel for contributing to low oil prices. (Muscat Daily)
