Suez Canal Economic Commission, Russian Soyaz sign MOU to develop economic zone, build supply station
The Economic Commission for Suez Canal Regional Development signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Russian Soyaz to develop parts of the Suez Canal economic zone. According to the agreement, the company will work as an industrial developer within the zone. Soyaz is also considering to build a supply station for ships either in Ain Al Sokhna or East Port Said. The Russian government had previously signed MOU with the commission last February to develop 2mn sqm of East Port Said industrial zone. (Al Borsa)
