STC teams up with Ericsson to boost the former’s 4G network capacity and performance; STC conducts first 5G trial in KSA
Saudi Telecom Company (STC) [7010.SE] has teamed up with Ericsson to enhance the capacity and performance of its 4G network in KSA, according to a release by Ericsson. The deal will boost STC’s 4G network in major cities such as Riyadh and Jeddah. As part of the strategic deal, Ericsson will also deploy the first 5G network trial in KSA.
