Saudi Telecom Company (STC) [7010.SE] signed a contract for TV and digital broadcasting and marketing sponsorships with the General Sports Authority (GSA) and Saudi Arabian Football Federation (SAFF), according to a company disclosure. The contract will have a duration of 10 years and will start from season 2018/19. The deal will cost SAR660mn, which will be self-funded. The contract includes the matches of Saudi Professional League (SPL), Cups Competitions, and SAFF organised Saudi National Team matches. The agreement will also include the technical sponsorship of all sporting events and marketing sponsorship of SPL.
