Real estate companies have begun to submit proposals to purchase newly offered fixed-price land plots by the New Urban Communities Authority (NUCA), five of which are in New Cairo with size ranging between 12-21 acres. Three 12 to 13-acre land plots in New Cairo are offered at a price of EGP5,480/sqm, while the remaining 16-acre and 21-acre plots are offered at EGP3,945/sqm and EGP3,780/sqm, respectively. NUCA will allocate land based on the highest down-payment proposals, which is set at a minimum of 15% of total value for plot sizes ranging between 4-20 acres and 10% for larger sizes. The total value of fixed-price offered land is EGP1.45bn.
