Shura Council considering 6% fee on cash remittances
The Shura Council is studying a proposal to impose a fee on cash remittances of up to 6%, to be effective during the first working year of the expat and to gradually decline to 2% starting the fifth year onwards. The proposal aims to encourage foreign expats to invest their cash savings in the Kingdom, according to the verdict. (Argaam)
