Sharjah airport passenger numbers fall 11% Y-o-Y in June 2016
Passengers travelling through Sharjah International Airport, headquarters for budget carrier Air Arabia (AIRA.DU), dropped 11% Y-o-Y in June 2016 to 586,449 passengers. Meanwhile, the number of aircraft landings and take-offs decreased 5% Y-o-Y to 7,795, while the amount of cargo handled fell 5% to 17,635 tonnes.
