The rate of Saudisation in the public sector decreased 83% in comparison to the previous fiscal year, according to the Ministry of Civil Service. There were only 111 positions Saudised during the current fiscal year compared to 656 positions during the last fiscal year and 1,782 positions two years ago, sources said. This year, only 66 Saudi men and 45 Saudi women were employed in the public sector to replace non-Saudis, including 90 positions in the health sector, the source said, adding that a total of 2,393 employment contracts of non-Saudis were terminated and 794 non-Saudis were hired by government departments.
