Saudia signs contracts with Boeing and Airbus to purchase 63 new planes
Saudi Arabian Airlines (Saudia) announced that it has signed agreements with Boeing and Airbus to acquire 63 new planes as part of its plans to expand its fleet. According to Saudia Director General, recent contracts include 15 Boeing B777-300ER, 13 Boeing B787 Dreamliner and 35 Airbus A320/A321-neo. This comes in addition to the 50-plane order placed with Airbus in 2015, and four new planes from a previous contract are expected to be delivered in 2017. (Argaam)
