Saudia Cargo to expand Riyadh, Jeddah airport facilities
Saudi Airlines Cargo Company (Saudia Cargo) on Monday announced the expansion of its facilities at King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah and King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh. The projects, which are part of the company's "Strategy 2020," aim to double cargo capacity and enhance the business’s capability to support the Vision 2030 plan. The new expansion will increase capacity at King Khalid International Airport to 530,000 tons a year, and the size of its facility to 75,000 square meters, Omar Bin Talal Hariri, CEO, Saudia Cargo, told Arab News. The capacity at King Abdul Aziz International Airport will expand to 820,000 tonnes in a 131,000-square-meter facility, he noted.
