Saudi Ministry of Commerce issued first cement licence
The Saudi Ministry of Commerce and Investment has issued the first cement export licenses, which was offered to one of the national cement production plants, according to a ministry official speaking to Al Eqtisadiah. The official added that the ministry has six other requests from cement producers for a cement export licence. The Saudi customs will collect the increment between global fuel prices and subsidised Saudi fuel. The increment will be calculated based on other factors including: the quantity of export per production plant, fuel consumption efficiency and the type of fuel, the source added.
