Saudi Arabia’s inflation decelerated to 2.2% Y-o-Y in December, compared to a 2.8% Y-o-Y in November. The drop was mainly driven by a slowdown in housing and utilities by 5.1% Y-o-Y. On a monthly basis inflation dropped by 0.28% in December driven by a drop in food prices by 0.47% and utilities by 0.56%.
