Saudi Aramco preparing domestic sukuk issue in 1H17
Saudi Aramco is reportedly preparing to make its first domestic issue of Islamic bonds in 1H17 to help fund its activities. The value of the sukuk issue is said to be part of the USD10bn sale plan this year. HSBC and Riyadh Capital are amongst the banks chosen to advise on the issue. Early last year, Aramco's board approved the creation of a programme to issue sukuk, according to the company's official magazine. (Bloomberg, Reuters)
