Saudi Aramco CEO says company has 2mn barrels per day of spare capacity
The head of Saudi Aramco, Amin Nasser, said Monday that the company has spare capacity of 2mbpd and can meet additional oil demand in case of any interruption in supplies. The statement comes days after OPEC agreed to increase oil output from July. Nasser said, on the sidelines of a conference in New Delhi, that Aramco produces about 10mbpd and has the capacity to produce 12mbpd.
