Saudi Arabia to release Ethiopian-born Saudi billionaire
According to Ethiopian Prime Minister, Abiy Ahmed, Saudi Arabia will soon release Mohammed Hussein Al Amoudi, an Ethiopian-born Saudi billionaire detained in November’s anti-graft swoop. The Ethiopian PM made the remarks after his meeting with Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman during a two-day visit. He added that he has made the request to release Al Amoudi and he expects him to be free soon. Al Amoudi was among 11 princes, four current ministers and top businessmen detained during the swoop by a new anti-corruption body.
