Saudi Arabia to raise customs on imported long-life dairy products to 25%

Saudi Customs Authority is looking to raise customs on c26 imported long-life dairy products to 25% from 5%, noting that the extra 20% was previously borne by the government on most products and will now be paid by importers themselves. It is not clear if imported raw materials like Skimmed Milk Powder (SMP) are included in the decision. (Argaam, Hatem Alaa, Nada Amin)
