Saudi Arabia to meet investors for debut bond, may exceed USD10bn
Saudi officials will meet investors from Wednesday as it prepares to sell its first international bond with tranches maturing after five, 10 and 30 years -- subject to market conditions, according to arranging banks. Saudi officials told the bankers that the issue could total at least USD10bn and might come close to Argentina's USD16.5bn issue in April. Investor roadshows will be held in London on Wednesday and Thursday before three days of meetings in the U.S. that will conclude on 18 October. Officials include the Minister of State Mohammed al-Sheikh, the Treasury Head of Saudi Aramco, and officials from the Ministry of Finance Ministry. (Reuters)
