Saudi Arabia has discarded c6,000 projects considered non-beneficial to economic diversification; one of the main objectives of its vision 2030 development scheme. Osama Al- Afaleq, Chairman of the Saudi Contactors’ Commission, said government scrapped the projects after studies had showed they would not pay off in terms of development and economic growth.
