Saudi Arabia closes 440 petrol stations due to violations
Saudi Arabia has closed 440 stations on highways (out of a total of 1,219) because of their failure to comply with the requirements set by the Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs for the upgrade of service stations. A total of 246 stations were fully shut down, with 138 closed temporarily. The Ministry also shut down 56 stations, which have not set up agreements with pre-qualified firms by the Ministry
