Saudi Arabia's central bank (SAMA) said on Tuesday it had asked local banks to reschedule real estate loans of citizens whose incomes had been reduced by government austerity measures. Last month, the government had decided to cut public employees allowance - where about two thirds of Saudis work, then later in the month SAMA asked local banks to reschedule consumer loans.
