SAFCO discloses its plan to shut down several plants in 2017
SAFCO has announced that several shutdowns will be conducted in 2017 to boost efficiency and maintain operational reliability. The company mentioned that the following shutdowns will be initiated: i) SAFCO 4 facility for 84 days (will conduct reliability improvements to the ammonia plant, which will increase productivity by 11%); ii) SAFCO 5 facility in 2H17 for 25 days; iii) SAFCO 2 facility for four days in 1H17; and iv) SAFCO 3 facility for 20 days in 1H17 (will improve the plant’s production capacity by 20%).
