Sadara starts Isocyanates unit, to affect 4Q17 results
Sadara has announced the startup of its isocyanates facility on 16 September 2017. Based on the release, the facility will produce commercial volumes of toluene di isocyanate (TDI). The TDI facility consists of three integrated units that will produce di nitro toluene (DNT), toluene di amine (TDA) and TDI. The company stated that TDI is utilised in the production of furniture, mattresses and other several applications. The start of the subject plant will be reflected in 4Q17 financial results.
