SABIC to spend USD3-10bn in acquisitions in next five years
In an interview with Reuters, SABIC CEO Yousef Al-Benyan said the company is planning to spend USD3-10bn on acquisitions over the next five years in specialty plastics and agri-nutrients. The company is currently looking at two producers of specialty plastics, and it will make the decision by 2Q18. Finally, Al-Benyan noted that the company is looking for options to expand its agri-nutrients operations in Africa and South America.
