SABIC in talks to join Shell at Iraq’s Nebras petrochemical project
SABIC is currently in talks to become a partner in Iraq’s Nebras petrochemical project, according to Reuters. Based on the news source, the talks between Saudi Arabia and Iraq are currently at an advanced stage. The proposed talks include SABIC joining Royal Dutch Shell and the Iraqi oil and agriculture ministries as a partner. It is worth noting that the Nebras project is still in the pre-FEED (front-end engineering design) stage.
