Russia will resume supplying wheat to Egypt

Russia will resume supplying wheat to Egypt after the Egyptian authorities had decided to scrap restrictions imposed earlier, the Russian Industry and Trade Minister Denis Manturov said. Last week, Egypt has reversed its zero-tolerance policy on the ergot fungus and will return to international standards, allowing for a 0.05% ergot level, after 540,000 tonnes of wheat were prevented from entering the country.
