Real estate levy expected to lure in EGP3.5bn in proceeds
The government is expecting the newly imposed 2.5% real estate levy to bring in proceeds of EGP3.5bn this year, sources from the Ministry of Finance told Al Mal. The expected proceeds exceed the EGP600mn from gathered from real estate tax in the previous year.
