Raya’s Chairman, CEO submits bank guarantee for MTO
Raya Holding’s Chairman and CEO, Medhat Khalil, submitted a bank guarantee for the mandatory tender offer (MTO), which will see him buying 46.3mn of the share capital for EGP435.2mn (EGP9.40/share). The letter is currently being reviewed by the Financial Regulatory Authority (FRA), according to Hossam Hussein, the Group’s CFO. He added that Raya will also appoint an independent financial adviser to value the company after the FRA approves the offer.
