Public-private-partnership school scheme gets Cabinet approval
The Public-Private-Partnership Central Unit (PPP) has received approval from the Cabinet to go ahead with its planned schools scheme. The first phase will cover 200 schools in Cairo, Alexandria and Qaloubeya, out of a total of 2,000 schools. The consultancy contracts will be tendered in July, while contracts to build 30 schools are set to be tendered before end of year. (MEED)
