Printing cash has been done in accordance to regulations, commitment to economic, legal measures, CBE says
The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) stated in a statement that printing and issuing cash has been done in accordance to regulations and full commitment to economic and legal measures, especially real GDP growth and inflation rate. The CBE has not issued any banknotes without fully covering it, and it has not issued cash to cover the budget deficit, which is usually done through T-bills and bonds issued by the government.
