PIF signs agreement to develop Six Flags park in Qiddiya
Saudi Arabia's Public Investment Fund (PIF) has reportedly signed an agreement with theme park operator Six Flags to develop and design a Six Flags-branded amusement park in Qiddiya, the Kingdom's first entertainment, sports and cultural destination, scheduled to open by 2022. Backed by PIF, Qiddiya will be built 40 km from downtown Riyadh. It will feature recreational and educational facilities across six clusters. Groundbreaking will begin this year, with the first phase of the development expected to be launched by 2022.
