Petrogas to acquire Swedish company’s North Sea assets
PA Resources, a Sweden-based oil and gas company with operations in eight countries, has signed an agreement to divest its portfolio of North Sea assets to Oman-based Petrogas E&P. PA Resources said the sale includes the company's 24 per cent interest in licence 12/06 in Denmark, which holds the Broder Tuck and Lille John discoveries, as well as its exploration licences in the UK, Germany and the Netherlands. “The transaction, which is subject to regulatory approvals, is expected to close during the first quarter of 2016” PA Resources said in a statement on its website on Tuesday. Petrogas E&P is the exploration and production arm of MB Holding Group. (Muscat Daily)
