Petro Rabigh awards contracts for clean fuel and sulfur recovery units
Rabigh Refining and Petrochemical Company (Petro Rabigh) [2380.SE] has awarded contracts for the naphtha processing unit for the production of clean fuel and the sulfur recovery unit to Kinetics Technology (KT) for SAR563mn. The projects are expected to be completed by 3Q19. The company also mentioned that it is still studying the polyether polyols project and will make any announcements with regard to this in due course. Note that the sulfur recovery unit will have a capacity of 106,000 tonnes per year (tpy), while the naphtha processing unit will have a capacity of 17,000 barrels per day (bpd). (Tadawul)
